Pension bonus
Usdaw has negotiated good settlement terms with Sainsbury for part-time workers who had previously been excluded from the company pension scheme.
Eligible members will have the opportunity to buy backdated pension benefits. Members who are still working for the company, were permanent part-timers between April 1976 and April 1989, have worked continuously for the company since then, and are current members of the JS Sainsbury Pension and Death Benefit Scheme are eligible.
