Labour’s win boosted by Usdaw campaign materials

From Peter Yeo, secretary, Swindon & Newbury General H83.

I was delighted to see Labour's candidate for Swindon North, Michael Wills, re-elected as MP for my constituency, but what made it particularly pleasing was the fact that he was often seen using Usdaw campaign materials!

He was pictured with our balloons, carrier bags, and leaflets in the local press which I thought was good publicity for Usdaw.

Mr Wills' secretary told me, while I was helping with the general election campaign, Usdaw was always first to help out with constituency finances and national support. It was clear that Usdaw has a good reputation in parliamentary circles.

Michael Wills isn't one of our parliamentary group of MPs, so it was very encouraging to hear that he speaks so highly of Usdaw.

With our success with the Christmas Day (Trading) Act it's important we keep our political work going.
