Baker’s dozen put Greggs on course

High street bakers Greggs is well known for feeding the nation, less well known is the fact that Usdaw has more than 1,100 members there.

Most of these are based in Scotland and are looked after by a busy team of reps who met up with senior management last month to discuss internal procedures and current union campaigns.

The meeting formed part of a special three day follow-on shop steward course - the first of its kind for Greggs reps. "This was very useful," said area organiser Ian Fraser. "Reps and management had a very productive day together and this sort of event can only help us progress."
