Branch officers from across the UK made the most of one of Usdaw’s most popular courses earlier this year.
The five-day residential course held in Warrington, Cheshire, is tailored for branch secretaries and chairs and takes a rounded look at how the union operates on a local, divisional, and national level.
Morrisons rep Pauline Bailey recommends it. "I really enjoyed the week," she said. "It was a bit daunting at first but I found the course very informative.
"Senior staff members from central office came to speak to us and that was very useful. It helped to break down barriers and clarified how we all connect.
"We had a lot of fun, everyone socialised, and the facilities were excellent."
