    National forum sets the agenda
    Usdaw has more than 102,000 retail members in Tesco who are looked after by a dedicated team of around 2,500 reps in stores across the UK. As part of the union’s partnership agreement with Tesco some store reps go on to the regional forums and then 48 of these represent members at the national forum, which met up recently at the union’s national training centre in Warrington, Arena dropped in.

    Getting involved in your store
    One of the best opportunities to make a difference in your workplace is now available as elections for union representatives are being held in Tesco stores across the UK in April and May. The Usdaw/Tesco partnership agreement allows at least one rep in every store. Currently more than 2,500 Tesco staff are Usdaw reps. They play a key role in looking after the union’s 115,000 Tesco members. Arena takes a closer look at how to get involved.
