Roadshow rolls into town

Staff at the Sainsbury store in Bath had their first taste of the learning opportunities on offer when the ‘learning for life roadshow’ arrived in town.

Learning Reps Jacqui Clarke and Richard Tucker teamed up with representatives from the City of Bath College to demonstrate courses to interested staff.

Former union rep Jacqui Clarke, now the roving learning rep in the Bristol and Bath area, said: "It was great to be back in Bath for the launch of the 'learning for life roadshow', it went down really well.

"I am really enjoying going into all the Sainsbury stores in my area and bringing Lifelong Learning to members."

Colleague Richard Tucker said: "I have recently started as the Learning Rep for Bath and have just finished my course. I'm enjoying the role so far and hope I can help get people to join the courses. The roadshow was a great success. Staff and management at the store were very interested in learning more."
