Top course on offer
Branch officers can take advantage of the union’s specially tailored training course held at the National Conference and Training Centre in Warrington, Cheshire.
This week-long residential course brings together newly elected branch officials from across the UK for an informative and in-depth look at how the union operates, locally, regionally and nationally.
Mid Sussex General's branch vice chair John Barstow was one of the latest intake. "This course is extremely valuable for reps who want to run an efficient branch," he said. "I really enjoyed it and our tutor Jenni Murray was first class. I'd recommend it to other reps, it's an important part of the training schedule."
