National Insurance Credit

Anyone receiving Invalid Care Allowance, Incapacity Benefit (now called Employment Support Allowance or ESA), Jobseeker’s Allowance or Severe Disablement Allowance will be credited with National Insurance for that period to ensure that no entitlement to basic state pension is lost.
