Manual Handling

Many of the jobs that Usdaw members do involve a lot of handling of goods or products. Manual handling can be a major casue of back pain and upper limb disorders (RSI) if it is not properly managed. This guide gives a basic introduction to the problem and points to some useful HSE tools that health and safety reps can use to identify risks.
