Digital skills are vital for everyone at work, at home, in their union and their local community. Many members lose out because of their lack of digital skills - don’t be one of them.

Check your level of IT skills & knowledge with our new assessment tool from the Learning Curve Group (LCG). You can register here. The passkey needed to access the form is ‘12345’. Enter this with your details then simply complete the assessment at your own pace. Once completed you will be contacted by an advisor from LCG who will recommend a digital skills course for you at the appropriate level.
 
Or you can use the ICT  ‘Skillscheck’ assessment on your tablet/computer or download the app for either Apple or Android phones. Go to unionlearn.org.uk/skillcheck to register.

Since the start of the pandemic, people have been using Zoom to stay in touch. Why not try this Bitesize ‘Using Zoom course to find out more.

Learn My Way offer short courses for beginners, covering the basics, staying safe online, being healthy, shopping and accessing services. Usdaw members should enter centre code: 8001732.

Make It Click features free courses, tools and templates that you can trust. You can learn new apps, improve the skills you already have and take a positive step forward in your work by building your digital skills. With themes around working from home, social media, spreadsheets, emails you can log in with your Learn My Way details (see above) or register using centre code 8001732.

Vision2learn offers accredited Level 1 and 2 courses in IT. You need to register to check if you are eligible for free learning. If you do not complete the course you may be charged an administration fee.

bbc.co.uk has resources on many different topics to develop the skills you need to get the most of your digital device.

E-careers provide a wide range of courses on various aspects and at various levels. You will need to pay for these but Usdaw members get a 10% discount (contact your Project Worker for details).

The government have updated the national careers service page to include some information on the value of ICT skills and some recommended ICT courses, please remember if you do use Learn My Way to use the Usdaw centre code 8001732.
