Government crime report confirms Usdaw findings on the scale of violence, threats and abuse against shopworkers

A Home Office report has found that attacks against shopworkers significantly increased during the pandemic, with high levels of verbal abuse, threats and violence. This is in line with the findings in Usdaw’s own survey and the Association of Convenience Stores’ annual crime report.
