Müller staff are devastated by the proposed closure of the Aberdeen depot - Usdaw will interrogate the business case

Date: 15 August 2019 Müller Milk & Ingredients has today announced that they are commencing a review of their operation in Aberdeen which could result in its closure, putting 50 jobs at risk. The company have indicated that a continuing reduction in volume at Aberdeen makes the operation uneconomical.
Kate Cumming – Usdaw Area Organiser says: “Usdaw members working in Müller’s Aberdeen depot are clearly devastated by this announcement. We will now enter into meaningful consultations with the company to interrogate the business case for this proposal. In the meantime we are providing our members with the support, advice and representation they need at this very difficult time.”
