Usdaw demands an urgent meeting about Müller's announcement to move management control of its logistics operation to Culina

Date: 25 April 2019 Müller Milk and Ingredients, one of the UK’s largest dairy producers, has today announced its intention for Culina Group to assume day to day management control of Müller’s logistics operation from 1 June 2019.
Daniel Adams - Usdaw National Officer says: “The company has informed the joint trade unions of its intention to move management control of the distribution operation to the Culina Group.

“There is no doubt that this announcement will create further uncertainty within the workforce. Usdaw will not stand idly by should this be a prelude to full outsourcing or an attempt to attack members’ terms and conditions of employment.

“Usdaw has demanded an urgent joint meeting with senior management at Müller Milk and Ingredients and Culina Group to seek positive reassurances about both companies’ intentions and to secure guarantees about jobs, terms and conditions and our future relationship.”
