BCM-Fareva redundancy announcement is a crushing blow for loyal workforce at the Nottingham site

Date: 21 March 2018 Today BCM-Fareva has announced the outcome of their business review following Fareva’s takeover of the BCM business at the end of 2017. The company’s plans include the potential loss of up to 400 roles over the next two years at their operation in Nottingham.
BCM is part of Fareva and has for over 100 years manufactured health and beauty products for Walgreens Boots Alliance and other famous brands, as well as special prescription medicines for individual use in the UK through BCM Specials.

Daniel Adams, Usdaw National Officer says: “The announcement today is a crushing blow for the hard-working and loyal workforce at BCM. Usdaw has demanded urgent talks so that we can examine the company’s rationale behind such significant job losses.  Usdaw will look at all options to save jobs and protect our members as a result of this announcement.”
