David Gill – Usdaw National Officer says: “The actions of the Pensions Regulator are welcomed as it would appear that Phillip Green is in no rush to honour his promise to ‘sort’ the pension scheme.
“Usdaw members in BHS were left devastated and jobless by the collapse of the company. 11,000 hard-working and loyal staff totally let down by the actions of a handful of people at the top. Those jobs have tragically gone and the ex staff have faced months of uncertainty over their retirement savings. Current and future BHS pensioners need to have their futures secured.”
